The Liturgy Committee works closely with the Clergy and others in the on-going planning and coordination of the various functions that serve as the primary expressions of our community faith and worship throughout the liturgical year. The committe usually meets the first Thursday of the month at 7:00pm in the Adult Education room of the school building.
As an integral part of the planning and coordination, the Liturgy Committee also provides the art and environment associated with the liturgical seasons, holy days and special celebrations, including the continual maintenance of living plants.
Additionally, the Liturgy Committee recruits, trains and schedules the Lectors, who proclaim the ‘Word of the Lord’, and the Lay Ministers of Holy Communion. Some Lay Ministers take Communion to homebound parishioners. Please call to volunteer.
