Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council was initiated for the purpose of advising and consulting our pastor to formulate and develop parish initiatives in the areas of need and to evaluate and improve existing programs. The Council meets monthly with the Pastor and his associates to discuss pertinent parish issues and to assist the pastor in long-range pastoral planning. Liturgy, Education, Community Life, Family Life, Evangelization, Social Justice and Communication within our Parish community are some of the areas addressed by the Council. The Pastoral Council meets on the third Thursday of each month. Parishioners wishing to bring issues before the Council, should submit their request to the Rectory Office by the third Tuesday of the month preceding the meeting.
Council members serve three-year terms. New members are chosen through a discernment process each year. Parishioners are encouraged to attend discernment meetings if they would like to be on the Council.
